Step-by-Step Reservation Process:

How do I book a boat?

Follow these simple steps to reserve your boat:

  1. Go to our "Book My Boat" page.
  2. Choose the style of boat you would like to learn more about.
  3. Click "Start Booking."
  4. Select your preferred date.
  5. Choose your departure time (which can be modified).
  6. Fill out the contact form (this initiates the conversation).
  7. Wait for us to contact you and plan your magical journey!

Can I book a 4hr/half-day rental?

We typically do not offer half-day rentals because the journey to the Rosario Islands takes about 45 minutes each way. Coupled with the time spent enjoying lunch on the islands, taking a swim, and relaxing, our boat rentals are designed to provide a full-day experience. However, if you are interested in a half-day rental during the day or evening, please reach out to us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request!

What's recommended to bring on board for a day in the sun on the boat?

We recommend bringing essentials such as:

  • sunscreen
  • hats 
  • sunglasses
  • a charged phone or device to play music!
  • sandals for island walking
  • a dry change of clothes 
  • light clothing to stay comfortable in the sun


Don't forget your swimsuit, towels, and any personal items you may need. If you have specific preferences or requirements, feel free to let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs!

Can I bring my own food on board?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own food on board. Additionally, we offer the option to have the boat stocked up or catered to your custom needs. Let us know your preferences, and we'll ensure your culinary experience on the boat is as delightful as the journey itself.

Does ALEO plan full travel itineraries including hotels, restaurants, transportation, and more?

Yes, we do! For Cartagena and beyond, Aleo offers comprehensive travel planning services. Whether you need assistance with hotel bookings, restaurant recommendations, transportation arrangements, or more, we're here to curate a seamless and memorable travel experience for you.

Does ALEO provide on-the-ground support?

Yes, we have an incredible team that can be available online, by phone, or in person when needed! Our on-the-ground support ensures that you have assistance and guidance throughout your journey, making your travel experience with Aleo smooth and enjoyable.

Changes and Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. Here's our comprehensive changes and cancellation policy for boat rentals to ensure a smooth experience for all:


1. Refunds and Cancellations:

  • Full refunds can be provided for cancellations made up to 15 days before the scheduled trip dates for most boat reservations.
  • For cancellations within 15 days of the trip dates, refunds may be available in the event of sickness or adverse weather conditions that make the trip unsafe or impossible. Proof of sickness may be required.

2. Date Changes:

  • Date changes can be accommodated, subject to availability and weather conditions.
  • A change fee, which is specific to each boat, may apply based on the rescheduled date. This fee covers administrative costs and potential loss of business due to date changes.

3. Weather Conditions:

  • Your safety is our priority. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable for boating by our experienced crew, we reserve the right to reschedule the trip or offer a full refund.


4. Booking Alterations:

  • Modifications to the booking, such as changes in the number of passengers, must be requested and approved in advance. Additional fees or adjustments to the total cost may apply based on the changes.


5. No-Shows:

  • If you fail to show up for your scheduled trip without prior notice, no refunds will be provided.


6. Force Majeure:

  • In the rare event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, etc.), we reserve the right to modify or cancel trips. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund.


Please note that all refund, cancellation, and date change requests must be submitted in writing to our customer service team at least 24 hours before the scheduled trip time. We strive to accommodate your needs while maintaining fairness and operational efficiency.
